Personal Invitation
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him. (Revelations 3:20)
Receiving Christ Jesus involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into your life to forgive your sins and to make you the kind of person HE wants you to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that HE died on the cross for your sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. We receive Christ Jesus by faith, as an act of our will.
These two circles represent two types of lives:
Which circle best describes your life? The one on the left where Christ is not in your life or the one on the right where Christ is in your life? Which circle would you like to have represent your life? Left or Right?
God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as HE is with the attitude of your heart. The following is a suggested prayer you can pray right now to ask Christ Jesus into your life:
"Lord Jesus, I need You! Thank YOU for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life (heart) and receive YOU as my SAVIOR and LORD. Thank YOU for forgiving me of my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person YOU want me to be.
How do you know that Christ is in YOUR life?
Did you receive Christ into your life? According to HIS promise in Revelation 3:20 - "Look! I have been standing at the door, and I am constantly knocking. If anyone hears me calling him and opens the door, I will come in and fellowship with him and he with me."
Christ has said that he will come into your life as he has been standing at the door of your heart hoping that you will allow him to come into your life. Jesus promised eternal life, "And the witness is this, that GOD has given us eternal life, and this life is in HIS Son. He who has the SON has the life; he who does not have the SON of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the SON of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life." 1 John 5:11-13.
Continually thank God that Christ Jesus is in your life and that HE will never leave you. Heb 13:5 - "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
So now that I have received Christ as my Personal Lord and Savior what is next?

Now that you have prayed this prayer and have asked Christ into your life, Christ has come into your life. It is very important that you attend a church where they are preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Some suggested church homes that we've attended before are:
Community Bible Church, Sugar Creek Baptist Church, Park Hills Baptist Church, Freedom Fellowship Church or Braeswood Assembly of God Church
The reason I mention these churches is because we have attended them and found that the Holy Spirit was moving upon the Pastors' and congregation and is where the Full Gospel of Jesus Christ is presented.
