History of Morning Star & Police
My first computer was a 286. The 286 was soon replaced with a 386 and there after with a 486. Since I had a 386 left over, my wife and I contemplated using the 386 as a PC that would serve as our home BBS. I had been calling up various BBSs' in the Houston area and did not like what I saw on them. I wanted to have a Christ centered BBS that would be a place where families could come and not be concerned about the content that was on it. My BBS had quality games, various levels of access (i.e. teenage access to areas specifically to minister to them, police restricted to law enforcement, etc.)
I purchased Mustang Software which was known as a Wildcat BBS. The name of the BBS was decided to be Morning Star & Police. Since I worked as a police officer I also wanted to be able to provide law enforcement networks and also the opportunity to minister to those that would call my BBS. I went from a few users to over 250 users within a very short time. We upgraded our Wildcat system so that we could possibly add a second or more lines. The second line never materialized and soon the Internet came on the scene. When users began to dwindle to less than 25 we prayerfully sought the Lord concerning what we should do with the BBS. After much prayer we decided it was time to take the BBS down. I still wanted to minister to whosoever would stop by and therefore learned how to make web pages. Hence this webpage is known as Morning Star & Police.
The name, "Morning Star", in Revelation refers to Jesus.

The Police part of the title of this webpage is because I am a police officer and wanted to continue to minister to those that are in law enforcement.
